About the Photographer

This collection of imagery is by photographer Mark Johnstone, the proprietor of Right Profile Photography.

Inspired by Mark's home town and Scotland's capital Edinburgh they reflect the incredibly diverse sights that this wonderful city has to offer.

Mark likes to use evocative black and white imagery and strong colouring techniques when portraying Edinburgh. Texture, shape and form are also important parts of his work.

He believes a combination of strong composition and portraying his chosen subject matter in new and engaging ways are pivotal when he is creating photographic imagery.

Mark's knowledge of Edinburgh is second to none. All aspects of this World Heritage classed city can be seen in his work and he is proud to catalogue his home town. He has a well established and successful range of greeting cards available on-line and in many outlets around the city.
